How Does The Fuel Vaporizer Work?
Answer: Since engines run on vapor instead of liquid gas, the Fuel Vaporizer injects vapor gas into the engine then your vehicle cuts back on the liquid gas running through the present fuel system

On Carbureted Vehicles: Using the Fuel Vaporizer usually requires less "peddal to the metal" when driving and/or commuting.

On Fuel Injected Vehicles: The computer will compensate for the added vapor.

What Increase In Mileage Can I Expect?
Answer: We have received average reports of 18% to 57% increases in mileage here in the United States and in countries over seas. As with any average some reports or more than this and some are less.
Top

Will It Effect My Horsepower?
Answer:Since this is a cold vapor system, the Fuel Vaporizer will give you a dramatic increase in horsepower. In so much it has been hooked up to dragsters.
Top

Will I Have To Change Driving Habits Or Fuel Grade?
Answer: The Fuel Vaporizer works with present conditions, granted you will get better mileage driving 55 and running good octane , however this is not necessary to achieve the a good increase.
Top

Is There A Warranty With The Fuel Vaporizer?
Answer: The Fuel Vaporizer comes with a 90 day warranty. However, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Top

Will This Void My Vehicle Warranty?
< /strong>
Answer: The Magnison and Moss Act was passed by congress in regards to retro- fit devices. This act states, in effect, that anything added to your vehicle that does not harm the engine or transmission will not void the warranty. Local garages may not be familiar with this law so we suggest you check with your individual dealer..

How Do I Adjust The Vapor Control Lever?

Answer: The vapor control screw is adjusted according to mileage and nothing else. Continue adjusting until the required fuel flow is obtained as you use the fuel flow calibration.

What Happens If I Tee Into The Carburetor Low Pressure Return Line?
Answer: If the return fuel line is teed into on carbureted vehicles you may not have enough fuel pressure to run the unit. The high pressure fuel line should be teed into fuel injected vehicles, which is recommended. Also, remember to tee into the supply line on carbureted vehicles as well , and the where return line on fuel injected vehicles is optional.

Why Do I Need A Universal Adaptor?
Answer: A Universal can be used on fuel injected vehicles with or without a return fuel line use, so as to control the fuel flow more accurately. This is placed between the 1/8" copper line, and the fuel rail for your Fuel Vaporizer.
As of 2004 this mechanical device replaced a small electronic pressure regulator shut off and just requires placing it in the 1/8" gas line. The Universal Adaptor already includes this mechanical shut off.

When Would I Need A Universal Kit?
Answer: A Universal kit is normally used only on fuel injected vehicles that do not have a low pressure return fuel line or the convenience of a quick connect, and do have a shrader valve stem on the high pressure fuel rail. (it looks similar to a tire stem). These kits come assembled with a built-in pressure regulator & shut off and can be used instead of the gas line tee. They offer a quick connect to lessen the install time by 20 minutes or more.

Why Not Leave The Clear Hose On All The Time?
Answer:The clear hose is for visual tests for vapor via set screw only and is not recommended beyond. If left on after this, the vapors may cause the hose to brown out, get weak, and collapse.
Top

Why Do I Need 5 feet Of Hose or less?
Answer: Through rigorous testing we have found that if the vapor out to intake manifold hose is less than 4' it will start cutting into the mileage that the Fuel Vaporizer will give you.
Top

Why Replace The Oxygen Sensor?
Answer: Engines oxygen sensor(s) not working properly will not experience optimum level mileage with the Fuel Vaporizer because the computer will not adjust the injectors to compensate for the extra vapor gas being fed to the engine. FYI, original equipment "OEM" works the best, (there is a difference).

What If I Can't or Don't Have A PCV Valve To Hook To?
Answer: The Fuel Vaporizer has been installed on many engines without pcv valves with great success including but not limited to, farm equipment, boats, airplanes, muscle cars, generators, etc. To install the Fuel Vaporizer on these types of engines follow the directions below....

1) Run the 4' to 5' vapor hose to a vacuum port on the intake manifold. On either shared intake manifold vacuum port or preferrably available vacuum port and clamped air tight. Purchase an "after market" oil filler (rubber) cap then plan the #2

2) Drill a hole large enough to place a "PCV" in through it, then see #3

3) Place and secure your PCV in the filler cap
4) Place Cap with PCV back on oil filler of engine.

5) Then take your 3/8" hose and connect to the new PCV and Vaporizer.

Are There Any Parts On The Fuel Vaporizer To Wear Out?

Answer:
There no parts to wear out on the Fuel Vaporizer as the set screw fuel adjust is require use on initial install.

What If I Damage My Canister?

Answer:
If you are away from home, and damage your canister, your engine may idle rough but it should not leave you stranded. If this is a concern, after installing the unit remove the canister and note the idle and performance, then reinstall it. This is why we would recommend purchasing an extra canister at purchase time and keep it in the glove compartment or somewhere safe.
Top

How Often Do I Need To Empty The Canister?

Answer:
The canister will usually fill up faster the first 3000 miles then after, if at all. The reason is, it is cleaning the inside of your engine then, after that it maintains it. An engine with a lot of blow by gases and many miles may fill up fast if there are other unburable ingredients. On the flip side, a new engine may not expell any residue what-so-ever.
Top

What Happens If I Fail To Empty The Canister?

Answer:
The canister will no longer collect the emissions and lessen its ability to vaporize in an optimum level required for the best resullts. Also, will begin to clog the "air intake port" predesigned on the canister, lessening its effect when trying to deliver the correct amount of vapors through the intake manifold.
Top

What Is In The Canister?

Answer:
The canister contains gas additives and other heavy articulate matter that drops in the bottom. These are generally unburned or unburnable residue that requires our erosion process designed for the self-containing of the canister and use of residue.
Top

Does It Work With Other Fuel Savers?

Answer:
The Fuel Vaporizer has worked with other fuel saving products such as magnets, hydro-systems, platinum-system, Tornado, high performance ignition systems, etc. If a hydro or platinum units are used, mount these between the Fuel Vaporizer and the intake manifold. Otherwise, the system will collect the added materials in the canister for later reburn.

Do I Have To Change My Idle?
Answer: Fuel injected vehicles do not need idle adjustments and are self-adjusting, however, about 10% of carbureted vehicles do.  Should you decide to adjust your carbureted engine, this is up to the discretion of the owner.
Top

How Do I Adjust The Fuel Vaporizer?
Answer: If your mileage has remained the same since installing the Vaporizer you probably do not have the "fuel calibration" completed or proper. Even though you may receive a "clear hose for testing purposes", each kit is designed with the "fuel flow calibration" as a requirement.

What Is The Universal Adaptor Kit
Answer: The Universal Adaptor Kit that we have fits fuel injected vehicles other than Ford, that have schrader valves stem on the fuel rail, and do not have a return fuel line (low pressure line). Or, for lesser install time and convenience purposes. This kit allows you to hook into the high pressure line for a cleaner install that demands much less install time of your kit. .
To install it, simply locate the schrader valve stem on your fuel rail (this will generally resemble a bicycle tire stem with a cap on it). Remove as your instructions will indicate then, the adaptor will screw on top of this. Then, all you have to do is connect the 1/8” copper line in your kit.

Top

What Are Ford Adaptor Kits?
Answer: The other Ford shrader stem types are smaller (mostly on Fords), and we have these adaptors built just for your needs. The Ford Adaptor has a differnt look than that of the Universal Adaptor.
To install the Ford Kit, remove the valve core from the shrader valve stem as to allow gas to pass through. Make sure the engine is cool, because until the pressure is minimized in the high pressure line, gas spillage will occur. Then install the brass fitting of your Ford Aadaptor on the shrader stem. Then connect the 1/8" copper line form the kit to the Fuel Vaporizer.
